5. Cutting and Cooling: The continuous plastic strands are cut into shorter lengths as they exit the extruder. The cut plastic strands, known as “noodles,” are then rapidly cooled using air or water to solidify them.
6. Pelletizing: The cooled plastic noodles are fed into a pelletizing machine, which cuts them into small, uniform pellets or granules. Pelletizing helps ensure consistent size and shape for ease of handling and further processing.
7. Sieving and Packaging: The plastic granules may undergo sieving to remove any oversized or undersized particles, ensuring uniformity. Finally, the plastic granules are packaged in bags, boxes, or other containers for storage, transportation, or sale.
